Good gator tail, good home cooked clam chowder, cold beer on draft , good service all around.
Just finished a great lunch! Wonderful shrimp on the "all you can eat salad bar" ! Others had the frog leg, alligator, conch combo! GREAT atmosphere! Fabulous. Service! Nothing like sitting on the deck with a breeze and views that make you want to stay for dinner!
Disappointing. I have been coming to eat here for the last 25+ years and never had an experience like today. No drink order, then receive the wrong drinks when we finally were served. Wrong food, missing food, and anything else that could go wrong. Waitress blaming cook, no manager, and a large party. Take your business elsewhere, you will regret this stop.
The food was a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Crab cakes were crunchy on the outside, nearly raw in the inside. Shrimp tasted terrible, fries were under cooked. But the beer was cold.
After waiting for 15 minutes for a table (there were open tables to be seen from where we were standing. We also waited over 10 minutes to get service AT our table (only after I asked one of the staff for some service).
I ordered pasta with shrimp, scallops and fish. The dish wasn't bad, but it didn't have any scallops. When I asked, the waitress told me they were out. Better to tell me that before I order. I managed to get a discount afterwards, when I requested that. My father's steak was medium as ordered, but also rather tough.
