Sad to report, the tore the ole girl down. A piece of Florida History, gone forever. Pity!

One of a kind experience! So peaceful!

Great camping place, take continue down the trail for about an hour and 45 mins nice trials and dry land. In the first couple of miles you'll mostly encounter some streams and a lot of mud.

Good parking lot to start a bicycle trip around... little abandoned... but clean... functional restroom unisex.

Did they ever name the arsonist who burned the historic building down and were they prosecuted? There never was a follow up.
