My wife and I have stop here a couple times in the past but NEVER again. This time I took my grandsons, only to find nude biker pictures plastered all over the men's room walls. The prices have doubled. Two beers, 4 sodas, one cup of chilly, two appetizers, and a hot dog and the bill came to almost $70. Cooks without hair nets and waitresses that need a clean change of clothes. And, apparently smoking is allowed. Just light up they'll drop off an ash tray with a comment telling the smoker that "I don't see you smoking." Don't waste your time or hard earned money on this place. It used to be a novelty but now it's a sorry place. Not for young boys that need to use the restroom.

after contracting to paint the facade and sign I worked diligently for 2 weeks power washing and prepping.. toiling in the hot Florida sun... primed & painted what I could only during hours they were closed...a very frustrated manager who played games with me pulling me off one job to do another and then complaining I was not finishing fast enough.. ultimately they paid me $200 for 60 hours after lies from staff this after I spent over $100 on gas to get there..the so called "real everglades" menu is made from processed canned ingredients.. prepared by a pot smoking chef and kitchen help with no hair nets.. slovenly staff hustle customers into ordering as much as possible.. it's overpriced for the quality of food.. fast service includes getting you out the door fast.. they are trying to sell the building and just squeezing every penny they can out of it.. the quaint decor & history are overshadowed by cynical management and an owner suffering mental breakdowns..save yourself being a trapped tourist on alligator alley and visit quality in Naples or even Everglades city..for local try Gator Crossroad just down the road on hwy 41

Great stopping point when traversing the Tamiami Trail. The decor is very unique and fun to explore. Getting drinks here is also a different experience, and I don't want to ruin the surprise. I definitely recommend stopping here at least once

Wonderful and fun. My favorite are the green fried tomatoes crabcakes homemade dressings and fresh vegetables. Everything is homemade and fantastic . Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. A true treat out in the Everglades !

The best service, best food and the only place to eat GATOR in FL. So glad we refound this place. LOVE IT.
